I just finished installing a new heater motor on my 76 TR6. It works fine (if
blowers on TR6s can be considered fine). Of course, now my horn doesn't work,
but that's another issue to be dealt with another day.

I didn't have a gasket for the to dash mounting and I thought I'd let you know
what I used because it was a very effective and extremely cheap fix. I went to
Home depot and bought two toilet tank to bowl gaskets, cut them to size to fit
around the heater pipe (whatever it's called) and used contact cement to
attach them to the heater and the ends to each other. Total cost was $2, and
they look like they were made for it. I tried it with the hose and it's a
watertight seal. Just thought I'd pass it on to anyone that is planning on
remounting a heater.
