Fred, I never said he misrepresented *anything* nor did I mean to imply so.  My
point was simply that he is not legally liable if your brakes fail.  The folks
who *are* (or at least were) legally liable if they fail, said not to
disassemble the caliper.  It's certainly possible that they didn't know what
they were talking about, as everyone seems to assume, but it's not possible that
Nelson has more experience with brake calipers than Girling.

I'm proud to consider Nelson my friend, and he is extremely capable at many,
many things.  That doesn't mean I always agree with him.  And wouldn't the world
be a boring place if we all agreed on everything ?

I think we've thrashed this topic about enough.  If anyone would like to
continue the discussion (except Don), please do so off-list.
