Looking at the ext. engine diagram in Moss cat. it's a simple enough
thing. Whether an engine has one or not, if the torque is sufficient to
bang air cleaners against fender, I'd prefer to have a buffer of some
kind. If the front plate has bolts to accomodate the standard part offered
fine, otherwise it shouldn't be much problem finding somewhere to mount
one. Catalog doesn't show where the buffer makes contact. Would think
somewhere on chassis would be best. Whatever, it's been good reading the
comments, I'll keep it in mind to watch for.
