Here in Connecticut there are actually signs that say "Begin Measured Mile"
and "Measured Mile Ends" that seem to be quite accurate. These are different
from the "Mile Markers" along the Interstates that are more hit and miss. We
also have big white lines in the breakdown lane that Smokey in the Sky uses
to track your speed.

What do these signs look like.  I can't recall ecer seeing one on I-5.
