Well, Jeff, see the problem is that most of us get to be friends on this list;
and sometimes friends make comments that aren't terribly helpful. Overall, I
think the "signal to noise ratio" is very good on this list, certainly much
better than many unmoderated forums.
For that matter, you've just made a post that "offers no help, suggestions or
assistance" that was three times the size of the post you're bitching about; so
I'd say you're 3 times worse than Ed.
On top of that, asking why you have to adapt parts together, when the original
parts are all available and need no adapters, is at least on-topic, if not
terribly helpful to you. Your post wasn't even on-topic.
So I'd have to say you're the one that "reflects badly on the Triumph community
and the list as a whole".
