There is a fellow on the 6-pack list by the name of Dick Taylor. He is a
recognized expert on the
TR6. His car was featured in Kastner's latest book, and his opinions are often
quoted by TRF.

He always provides thoughtful, helpful, objective and most importantly polite
responses to even the
dumbest of questions (some of mine have fallen into that category). There was
even a person on the
list, who was later banned, who for some reason constantly attacked Dick. Even
in the face of that
he remained polite and objective. Other people started standing up for him.

IMO his politeness and objectivity enhances his impression. He takes the high
road.

I think there are some people on this list who would enhance their reputation
and leave a more
positive impression by using some of Dick's politeness and objectivity. It
seems to me that smart
remarks and an argumentative nature are a sign of weakness not one of strength.
