Are you sure you're not confusing peugeot with Citroen. The DS21 had
the turning headlight feature back in the late 50's, along with
hydraulic suspension, aerodynamic shape, extreme comfort and of course
unique styling. The tire changing "jack" was a wood clock. Pump up the
suspension. put the block under the offending corner and lower the
suspension. Voila! the flat wheel was now free of the ground. In a
pinch you could raise the suspension and run on three wheels. wonderful
cars. Full of french character.
