Hi, (4) questions 'numbered for your convenience.'

What direction does the fan turn? (1) If I am facing it does it turn
anticlockwise?
Also, I have given thought to spinning the oil pump with a drill. I
have removed the top 6" that comes out from removing the distributor. I see
the slotted grove in the motor's hole: funny, the outer brass grove does not
exactly line up with the silver center grove. (2)I wonder if it matters
because (I think) the distributor seems to go into into this grove when
assembeled?
Perhaps the most unsettling is that when I insert a very wide bladed
screwdriver into this slot (and it takes up 75% of the slot), (3) shouldn't
I be able to turn it!! I doubt my little drill motor could turn it either.
(I know it turns counterclockwise)
I'll proably forego the drill motor turning and just let the starter motor
'spin' the unwired motor thereby priming things and testing my oil pressure.
What do you think (4)?
Thanks,
Paul Dorsey
