Now that things are going back together I have spotted what is probably the
first of many inconsistencies with the "new car".
The right leaf spring (6 leaves) has what looks like 2 extra leaves (same
thickness as standard leaf & about 3 inches long) acting as a spacer between
the axle and the top of the leaf spring. The left side doesn't have them, so
when it was last driven in the 70's it must have gone round in circles. Any
ideas?
