A distinct possability. Unfortunately the PO passed away 2 weeks after I
purchased the car. Not only the loss of a great guy, but also of a valuable
resource with regard to the vehicle. I have all the receipts so I can see what
was done and when, but the why is not always evident.

  Might I add that since your transmission is a recent replacement whatever
did this may have occured before the switch so the foriegn object may well be
removed.  Perhaps a regimin of regular inspections and acting at the first
sine of a crack is the prudent course at this time.
