One man's junk is another man's treasure. I am the proud new owner of
the "Hideous. Hilarious" fiberglass bonnet for a TR4A that was on the
Dallas craigslist.
It's exactly what I was looking for since I already had front and rear
fiberglass fenders. It is going to look just fine on the race car I'm
throwing together from The Wreck (below). I think I can get it to a
bare bones and light autocrosser without out all the sheet metal
weighing it down. And the built in scoop will feed the supercharger
below nicely.
The bonnet is also Signal Red and the patina is almost a perfect match
for the experienced paint that's on the TR4A already.
You just never know. Thanks to Oliver for bringing it to my attention.
