I got a great paint job for $3,000, after I sent it back as the wings were a=
different shade than the tub. Of course it took over two years and he neve=
r re-fit any of the parts after doing the repair and paint work. Live and l=
earn.=20
But the paint looked good!

Before you pull the gearbox - if your only symptom is 'won't go into gear' -=
- you may want to check how much movement you're getting at the slave cylind=
er. If the slave & fork are moving =C2=BD" or a bit more then it may well b=
e a broken fork pin. But if you are not seeing good movement then the probl=
em may lie elsewhere (and be easier to deal with).
As for paint -- $3,000 for a decent paint job would be cheap where I live.
