It is the carpet under the seats that you cannot easily take out that 
grows mold and occasionally sprouts grass seeds at the moisture eats 
away to the metal underneath. I suggest nothing under the seats, and the 
easily removable rubber mats up front that can be hosed down outside the 
vehicle when they get dirty.? Assuming you put miles on the car.
