The Stop Light switch for an MGB will screw into the pedal assembly replaci=
ng the stop screw at the front of the assembly.=C2=A0 A simple, two-wire ha=
rness will connect it to the factory wires.=C2=A0 This is what I did on my =
TR3 with good results and almost looks stock.

 The hydraulically operated stoplight switch on my TR3 has once again faile=
d. And yes, I am using silicone brake fluid.=C2=A0 When sourcing a replacem=
ent from NAPA (SL147), it came with a warning note that it is not approved =
for use with Silicone Brake Fluids. That was for a switch with spade connec=
tors.=20

The identical switch with screw connectors (SL144) has no such note. But, t=
he folks at NAPA weren=E2=80=99t able to provide any reassurance that that =
one would any more silicone tolerant.=20

Is anyone aware of an updated hydraulically operated stoplight switch that =
is silicone brake fluid tolerant?
