I have been a loyal supporter of SVRA virtually since its creation. I have
attended more SVRA events than anyone and seen it go through good times and
not so good times. I have agonized over what I see as a downward spiral of
the SVRA. Now I think I finally understand the problem.
For a service organization to say that it can't answer every letter or
e-mail, whether it comes from a customer or not, is either the height of
arrogance or business stupidity. In either case, such an organization won't
last long if it doesn't change its ways. The SVRA grew to be the prominent
sactioning body because it cared about and ALWAYS communicated directly with
its members. I hope there has been no change in that policy.
