Are these the same Tecno magnesium wheels that failed in Australian V8 =
Touring Car racing last year and were banned?
Most cars were using Tecno wheels and many developed cracks after very =
little use.

A friend of mine had them on his 2 litre Alfa Super Tourer ( a 155 I =
think) and his Tecno wheels were also banned. Lots of cracked wheels =
for sale here.

Maybe it's a different company or a different design wheel but it's =
worth checking.

 Don,

 I don't know your budget, but many of the original Campagnolo wheels =
are=20
 now being manufactured by a decendent company called TecnoMagnesio. =
These=20
 wheels are from the original sand cast molds but with very hitech =
machining=20
 and finish. This is as close to the real deal as you'll find. They =
are=20
 not cheap, but the ones I bought are beautiful. =20
=20
 I think that catalog lists most of the Campy's for Alfas including=20
 Giuliettas, GTA's, GTAM, etc.
=20
 I bought them through:

Hello,
=20
After reading and lurking for a few years, it is time to ask a question =

of the Vintage list, has anyone had any experience or knowledge of the=20
Lite Speed Race wheels produced by Dave Taylor Corp. in Des Moines, IA.=20
They produce a CNC aluminum wheel. I'm looking for a good alternative=20
to the panasport light wheels used on a bunch of our vintage Alfa GTs.
=20
Any and all comments are welcome, as well as any recommendations from=20
the list, it appears the order I placed from two months past has been=20
lost by the parts folks in the South East. I had ordered a set of=20
Panasport Racing Lights from Japan. Btw, I'm in Denver, so shipping from =

most areas is about equal. I do run the 14" wheels versus 15" in RMVR.
=20
Thanks to all,
