| Just a thought about rear crank oiling. The stock Spridget doesn't have a rear oil seal, but relies on channels to bleed the oil back into the rear of the sump. On a steep slope (as on some car carriers} oil will run into the clutch. Insufficient crankcase ventilation will also encourage oil leakage. Extra ventilation and cleanup of the drain back channels will usually correct the problem. Gary |
