Yes that is true but virtually NOBODY with any sense raced on them. Most used 
either Goodyear Blue Streaks, Dunlop Greenspots or Continentals. I'm sure 
somebody ran Michelin X's or Pirelli Centurato's. Certainly nothing like a 60 
series Yoko.
