New Member, While it's always a good idea to clean all the ground connections these problems sound switch related to me. The brake light switch is on relatively flexible tab down at the brake pedal.

Simple Green used full strength does an ok job. It's cheap and easy to try. Some have said that Simple Green etches aluminum... maybe that's why it's shiny after using it? Kendall San Clemente, CA
