Does anyone have comments on this idea. I can't get a piston into the brake caliper. When my wife's not looking, I'm going to freeze the piston and seals so they contract. I'm considering putting the

Don4t know about brakes but with Norton crankcase and main bearings it worked heavenly. I did not use owen but a butane torch to loosen them. If you choose owen, take that Yorkshire pudding out first

I've used the oven concept, plus a generous amount of dry ice to replace the roller bearings on a DKW 1000 (2-stroke) engine. However, if you need to do this with the caliper, then you have a problem

Don't do it! It may go together that way, but it'll be stuck solid when all the temps equalize again. With the seals out, the piston should slide nicely in. There must be corrosion or warpage there s
