A little wet, but everybody seemed to have a great time. It was great to see everybody again. The Triumphs seemed to suffer LESS than their share of maladies, that is always a good thing! Not sure ab

Just got back in town from the Mitty. I had a great time getting together with the Triumph group again. While the Triumphs were outnumbered by the MG's, they certainly made their presence known! As H

I was just looking at the time sheets and calculating average speeds for Road Atlanta--looks way too fast. Could someone confirm for me that the track is 2.540 miles long? If so that makes a 1:46 lap

You are correct in the distance of RA, but you have an error in your math somewhere. Try this link: http://www.wherearewe.co.nz/averagespeed.html Looks like a much more reasonable 84.666 average.

Bill, I think your problem is that 1:46 is not the same as 1.46. The :46 indicates 46 seconds, so the lap time in minutes is 1 + 46/60 or ~1.767 minutes. 2.54 miles in 1.767 minutes is 2.54/1.76 or

Hmm. This seems so simple. Something must have addled my math wits. Seems like 2.54 miles/1.46 minutes = X miles/60 minutes or 2.540/1.46=X/60 or (2.540*60)/1.46 = 104.38 Must be losing my marbles. O

Simple case of "brain constipation." 1 Min 46 sec (1:46) equals 1.76666 minutes which must be plugged into the equation: Length of track/time x 60 In this case 2.54 miles/1.7666 sec x 60 min Please n
