I believe it is 7 total...put seven in, fire it up to fill the filter and then check it, if it's low, add another quart...if it isn't, then it is seven. Dave Duffey 59 BT 7 project

I remember that shortly after the new Mini was introduced, BMW wanted to revive the Austin Healey and ran into problems because the family does still own the rights to the name. I don't remember why
