Early BN1s (like mine) didn't have seat slides, and you can adjust to move the seat way back on the wooden rail (that's what my BN1's seats mount to, the wooden rail is bolted to the floor, then the

I cut drilled holes into the seat cushion bottom to allow more crush, I drilled new holes in the floorboards and moved the seat rails back. Other than that not much else needs tobe done ;) I ERbs 59

I am 6'2" and have the same problem. I solved it somewhat by moving the seat rails back as far as they would go and raising the front of the seat by making new wooden rails that go between the floor
