Well, not all Triumphs are spitfires. Was the part number for the spit and the triumph the same one? That doesn't make sense as a spit one wouldn't fit a TR6, yet they are both triumphs. Is this ADDC

I'm not sure about other years, but my bell housing on my 69 GT6 is aluminum. The box isn't. An aluminum block would be nice, especially if an aluminum head with dual overhead cams could mate with it
