If cool factor is a major consideration, I'd look to the FJ20. There are pictures of several FJ conversions around. I think it is a much better looking engine than the SR. Looks like a Lotus Twin Cam

Check to make sure it's the springs that are bottoming and not the shocks. You can put a little grease on the tops of the bump stops. After the car bottoms, check to see it the grease is on the chass
