Ok, I got to drive the 59 I bought a year ago, finally! Immediately the bushings on the upper fulcrum pin fell to pieces. It looks pretty simple to replace them, but I noticed some play in the lower

Ok, I got the front end rebuild kit with new lower fulcrum pins. Now I see how this is supposed to work. The pin is locked to the kingpin, so the fulcrum pin turns in it's threads as the A arm moves

My hardtop has 3861 on a metal plate on the left side, in the back of the sidecurtain opening. This is on a '59 Bugeye. I have no idea if the top came with the car.
