You would be much better off finding one that runs and drives and spending an extra 2 grand. What you described will need to be taken apart. The brakes,fuel lines ,most of the rubber will all be junk

You may be able to get lawn mower throttle cable even cheaper. That's what I used and I don't remember it being even $10. Just make sure whatever you get is push/pull cable - solid core as opposed to

There are some parts that it makes no sense to rechrome because you can still buy them new. The front lense is a perfect example. Why pay $20 to rechrome if you can buy it new for $12. DAVE
