Cliffle Tire in Detroit used to do it many years ago and they worked fine. You could usually do it twice before a carcas was used up. It cost about $10 per tire. New Bluestreaks were $37.50! The was

Normally your racing organization publishes this in their General Rules and Regulations. With SVRA we expect 8" with a 1 1/2" stroke as a minimum. 10" x 2" stroke is better if you have the room. Jack
