If you are talking about the long bolts that hold the bed on the frame, then 4 on each side is right for your long bed. There are 3 on each side of the short bed. In either case, there are bolts in

I'm not sure about the '54 ratio, but I have a 3.90 (outof a '62) in my 235 powered '48. I don't see much difference from the original 4.10. I got it for the 6 lug mounting and open drive shaft to go

Sounds like your master cylinder is still leaking fluid past the seals internally. Is there any evidence of an external leak? Some of these cylinders may have been honed several times over the years
