I have a 62 "box" Sprite MK II and I have what appears to be a factory wood wheel. I assume we are talking about steering wheels right? I have three spokes, one going to each side and one going down.

I'm sorry, I looked at my wheel today and it has two spokes. How do you tell the difference between Bakelite and wood? My wheel is a dull black color. It kinda feels like wood but could it be Bakelit
