The TR6s that I know of, have mechanical u-joints. I converted my TR4 over from the rubber couplers (although I raced with them for 12 years) to TR6 couplers. If not available used they are available

I spoke too soon about TR6s when my knowledge is about TR4s. That being said, I have an extra TR4 steering shaft if someone needs one for any reason.

Mike has the only newly badged prototype (BMW) "Triumph" and has passed the eligibilty test of Jack Woerhle for entry in the MG/TR Challenge at HSR. But they did disable the Nitrous Oxide.....
