Wayne Snyder of Snyder Racing (Grande Rapids, Michigan) makes racing axles for Spitfires. He uses Chevy Vega axle shafts and modifies them for the Spitfires, be it G Production or F Production spec.'

Any help in locating 2nd and 3rd gear for Spit 1500 3 rail tranny ? This is the early all syncro tranny. I just found out why it won't go into 3rd or stay in 2nd at high rpm's - the snap ring let go
