Take alook at a saginaw 4 speed. Patricks produces a shifter for that transmission that puts the stick in the right position but you loose your backup light switch. I am running the saginaw in my 49

I put my master cylinder on the firewall becasue of a 350 conversion and run the rear brake line the same as stock, down along the frame rail on the drivers side. My exhaust also runs along the drive
