Hi Paul, As often in the past, thanks for your quick and helpful answers. By identifying the 1098 as a "10CC", I meant to indicate the 2" mains. Probably would have been beter to just say that. One m

Points closed voltage reading betwen coil terminals should be full system voltage. It should be zero across the points and zero also across the ignition switch. All of this assuming ignition switch
