If the cut off isn't in very close proximity to the battery it possibly defeats the purpose. If a standard location was chosen the switch could be operated remotely by a cable like a pto cable. I've

For lsr lightning the flywheels would offer no great advantage and probably cause high rev problems with oil scavenging and hydraulicing on the crank, the cons really outweigh the pros on a lsr bike
