According to the wiring diagram on my '80 Spit, it is correct for the "hazard" warning indicator to illuminate with the panel lights -- at all times. My fix was to remove the bulb. Best regards, Ed

What damage did I do. While replacing the battery (anxious to try the carb conversion) my wrench arched the two battery posts. Now I have no spark at the coil wire. What did I fry/damage? Regards, Ed
