I guess my approximate measurements were too approx. I saw the 1.6 ratio later when I looked thru RPI's site. By thos figures, my cam doesn't seem too worn. I hope to be able to accurately measure it

My Range Rover has an OEM Lucas geared starter motor. I know this 'cos I recently pulled it down and cleaned it up. It has a planetary gearbox - very similar to the starter motor that was on my Honda

I can't recall who was interested in 265 rods etc. I've borrowed the Chrysler workshop manual for a Chrysler Centura which, in Australia, used the 245 Hemi engine and can scan the engine drawings etc
