It has Dual Carbs and 4 intake ports. Am I to assume then that this is a 1296 from 1969 and not an 1147? Does anyone know what clutch style this motor had with it in 1969 without me having to take it

We put on about 200 miles today. The sun was warm and the Spit ran great, except for the slightly slipping clutch, oh well for now. I got awfully sun burnt though. I'll be paying for this next week.

My temp gauge does not work. The wiring is all OK, which leaves one of two things. The Gauge or the transmitter. My car appears to have two of them? It is a 1296 from a 69 MK3 placed in a 1963 Spit.
