The column you want is the one without the ignition switch on it...I think 85 was about the end of the run. They started in 72, I think, the newer the van the more likely it would have tilt. Jim

Shop is just over 10 ft, seems to work fine, although I don't have a lift and never have intended to get one. 8 ft is too short, 12 would be really nice if you are planning on having an indoor lift (

deluxe has a big control panel, with temp, defrost, inside/outside air levers in addition to blower speed. The blower is in a separate box from the heater core. Standard heater has only fan speed on

Tom, the type with the nut should take very little force to remove and install the pulley, so you should not need to be beating on it with a big hammer. The shaft is keyed. The type without the nut

My guess is that you have it set up so the steering rack reaches the end of it's travel at a different point than the truck's steering does. You might want to see how the steering works in the origin
