I've never done this, but I've heard you can do this with modeling clay as well. With valves closed, fill the chamber with clay until level. Remove clay and place in a graduated cylinder or whatever

My '70 2000 parts car was towed on a dolly from central Michigan to Minneapolis, MN over 12 hours with no issues, but it had good tires and the motor, tranny, and driveshaft were previously removed.

Please, Please DO NOT use liquid nails. That will permanently adhere the window to the channel. Meaning you will have to break the window to get it out or trash the whole assembly. Plain old silicone

Keep the 3.89 gears from the 1600 vs. the 3.70 gears from the 2000. You'll get a bit more acceleration out of it and will hardly notice the RPMs difference or fuel economy with the 5th gear overdriv

Hey Matt! As always, whenever you have an intermittent problem, start with cleaning all the electrical contacts including the contact to ground (GND), then reconnect and tighten any loose wires, etc.
