They are threaded, and they have a nut to hold them on from inside the deck lid, I believe there is an access hole under the hood (bonnet), so that yuo can get a nutdriver or socket with an extension

All you do is loosen the engine mounts, and lift the whole thing up with ahoist. remove the pan, lower the engine. You now have full access to everything.
