My temp and fuel gauges started to both read lower last year and this spring they finally went dead - together. Figured for sure the stabilizer, but it turned out the temp sender wire was going open

I had a one half inch sideways loose steering rack. Debated the solid upgrade, but went with new stock rubbers. When pulled the old rubbers were actually fine but had not been installed "compressed"
