Ok, so when I had the head rebuilt I told the nice shop to just ignore those secondary springs as this was not going to be a race engine. I just noticed in one of my manuals that those may be stock.

You cant swap the circuit can you? You can swap the jets / emulsion tubes but the circuit is the machining in the body of the carb plus the jets etc. unless DCOE's are that different.. Lester _______
