It bolts up under the dash. Top bolt is the lower master cylinder bolt and the lower two are two of the steering shaft mounting bolts. Stan provides new longer bolts for the lower mount and the top

Another "almost too simple" fix is to check the positive battery cable to the starter and make sure it isn't gounding to the block. If not routed correctly the cable can rub on the block and wear out

It sounds like it may be the fuel pump can't keep the float bowls full. It would cause the engine to stall and then not fire again until the pump has a chance to get fuel into the bowls again. But it
