i cant say for sure about a '50 3100, but on my '57 3200, the shock mounts go on the rear u-bolt, and they are lower than the u-bolt, so the shock is behind and lower than the rear end. hope this may

in california, im not sure about other states, if a vheicle does not have a bracket or a place in the front bumper the car company made specifically for a plate, you do not need a plate. i didnt like

a friend of mine replaced the cab corner on my '57, he cut it out the same shape and size of the patch panel, he didnt cut the patch at all, and butt welded it up, he didnt use one bead, it did a lot
