I've had a bad run with thermostats too. I had to replace three on my Alpine during restoration before I even got to drive it on the road! I gave up and removed it altogether too. I'll try one again

Thought some of you guys might be interested in this site that I found tonight. This bloke claims to own a 1936 Sunbeam 30. The 30 was the first Rootes Sunbeam, but never went on sale to the public.

Ooh, dangerous ground there Vic. ERAs were based around Riley bits and only designed for the track. They're really racing cars rather than sports cars. Frazer-Nash used BMW engines, amongst others. R
