As a "get by" at the track fix you can cut an inner tube and add 2 more lower seals to a standard cap and it will hold enough pressure for most cars. Don't ask how I know this!! PITA to get that sec

The working cap on my TR-4 has between 40 and 50 thou of height difference between the cap measurement and the radiator "well" measurement. The cap measures 0.780 to 0.790 and the radiator measures 0
