You can always tow it backwards. There's less fender extending past the front wheels that the rear. My 70's steering wheel locks when I remove ignition key, so the 69 probably does too. It's probably

Try a bicycle shop. They stock brake cable housing in rolls, just let them know how many feet you need. They are plastc/teflon lined for lower friction. They will also have 2.2 mm inner cable as well
