According to my Haynes manual, the oil sump plus filter change requires 9.6 US pints. Cooling system, oddly enough, is exactly the same - 9.6 US pints of water/antifreeze (50/50 mixture). Tony Childs

My setup is the complete '69 Spit manifold and PCV valve. It is pictured on page 83 of the Vicky Brit catalog SG.28. The valve is a friction fit in to the hole toward the rear of the manifold. Tony

Craig, I may be mistaken, but I believe these are the holes through which the oil feed galleys tot he cam bearings were drilled, and then, as you speculated, the outer holes were "tapped and capped"
