I'm pretty sure it is the same as used through TR6 which is a 5/16 UNF. 5/16 UNF has a thread pitch of 24 TPI. Dave

TR4 has 1/4-20 threads for the shift knob. I forget the pitch for TR3 offhand, but it's 7/16" diameter and finer pitch than UNF. Might be 28 pitch (UNEF), or one of the NS pitches. Randall
